Awareness Session on Neurodevelopmental DisordersASD Welfare Trust Lahore organized an enlightening awareness session at Gourmet Foods Pakistan.
Special thanks to Mr. Islam ul Hassan Noon (Head of Department & HR), Ms. Ayesha Javed, and Ms. Mariam Mushtaq for their valuable support and coordination.
Speakers:Ms. Humaira Akbar delivered an informative talk on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) — highlighting key signs, red flags, and effective management strategies.
Ms. Sunehra Zaidi discussed ADHD and Learning Disabilities, explaining diagnostic criteria, possible causes, early interventions, and management techniques.
The session was attended by around 80 members of the Gourmet team, who actively participated and appreciated the insightful discussion.
This initiative aimed to enhance awareness, understanding, and inclusivity in the workplace by equipping staff with knowledge on how to support individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions.
